Certificates of Deposit (CDs)
Hebron Savings Bank CDs are safe and secure way to earn a higher rate of return on your investment. Competitive interest rates and annual percentage yields make them a wise investment choice. Maturities for certificate of deposit accounts range from 3 to 60 months. A minimum deposit of $500 is required to open a CD. You are guaranteed the interest rate in effect at the date of purchase for the length of the certificate. All early withdrawals of certificates are subject to substantial penalty. Fees may reduce earnings.
Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
IRAs are a simple way to start saving for retirement. IRA funds are different from CDs as they have specific guidelines for withdraw of the funds, although it is possible to have CDs in your IRA account. IRAs are available with terms of 12 months or more. We offer Traditional IRAs, Roth IRAs, and Simplified Employee Pension Plans. Maturities for IRA accounts range from 12 to 60 months. A minimum deposit of $250 is required to open an IRA. You are guaranteed the interest rate in effect at the date of purchase for the length of the certificate. All early withdrawals of certificates are subject to substantial penalty. Distributions from accounts associated with your IRA Plan may also be subject to taxes, please consult your tax advisor for any questions regarding the possible taxable event. Fees may reduce earnings.
