At HSB, we are proud to offer personal checking account choices to meet your individual financial needs. Whether you like to write checks, or use our Anywhere Banking Tools, HSB has you covered. Choose from any of these 3 simple checking account options.

HSB Rewards Plus

This account is available to individuals who would like to earn interest and rewards. This account qualifies for all HSB Reward benefits including BaZing Savings Shopping Discounts²and Triple Threat Protection & More³. The HSB Rewards Plus account has a minimum average balance requirement of $1,000; if the average monthly balance falls below the minimum, a $10 service fee is assessed monthly. Statements with check images are mailed monthly. Interest is compounded daily and credited monthly.

HSB Rewards

This account is available to individuals who want a little more BaZing for their buck. This account qualifies for all HSB Reward benefits including BaZing Savings Shopping Discounts²and Triple Threat Protection & More³. A $6 service fee is assessed monthly. Statements with check images are mailed monthly.

HSB Ready

This account is for individuals who want to keep things simple. The account has an average monthly balance requirement of $100; if the average monthly balance falls below the minimum, a $7 service fee is assessed monthly. The monthly service fee is also waived for individuals who have direct deposit into this account or the primary account holder is age 62 or older. Statements with check images are mailed monthly.

Cell phone protection: You're covered by paying your cell phone bill with your HSB Rewards Plus or HSB Rewards checking account. If your phone is broken or stolen, BaZing will pay to repair or replace it, up to $400 per claim ($50 copay, $800 maximum per year).
ID Theft Aid: Includes payment card fraud resolution, $2,500 in personal identity theft benefit, and identity restoration.
Roadside assistance: Available 24/7 and free to use, up to $80 in covered service charges per occurrence.
Travel accidental death coverage: Peace of mind for the unexpected, $10,000 coverage.
Health Savings Card: Save money on prescriptions, eye exams, frames, lenses and hearing services.
